My backpack is extremely light and reserved for essentials, water proof backpack bottle, and little things you buy while you out. I brought a weeks worth of clothes, toiletries, camera and associates equipment, and other misc including temple charms and souvenirs in a Osprey Farpoint the entire trip of a month traveling from hostel to hostel and never felt comprised or like I needed more. Also having everything on me to carry onto the plane and busses meant less wait times and potential baggage being lost in transit.

theft proof water proof backpack backpack I still don too often do more than 3 days, but thats more because we don have family to help us out with the kids and my husband would have to take off work, etc. I and my husband do lots of trips with the kids though, we camp really frequently and have since they were little and I have always taken them on solo hikes since they were babies.
