I really like that the FF Flicker can open up like a blanket. I got the wide and plan to use it for more than just backpacking. It be a nice throw blanket all winter, good for a quick warm up post ski, that kind of thing. It a pretty sweet gig, even if it only for 6 months out of the year. If you want to work for the Park Service you most likely have to work seasonally first. My best advice is to volunteer, work for Student Conservation Association or your states Conservation Corps first.
