I ridden a couple of split pivot bikes with higher anti squat and more tuned leverage ratio. If done right, it seems to result in a bike that feels magic carpet esque over small bumps, but that takes off like a rocket with a single pedal stroke. I only ever demoed relatively short travel versions of these bikes (Pivot 429 Trail), and only on rolling terrain, but they were a blast.
