The slim outer pocket works great to hold my two iPhones and my bus pass. I'm not sure if this is overkill or not but I've alchemist backpack in every town fully loaded with flint, water skins and salts. All that stuff is heavy. Perhaps I should just leave it back in town I gotta admit I don really do much (if any) alchemy or cooking while I out of town, but my base instinct is to pack prepared..

It great for Winter, but there too much empty space for Summer trips.
