I think you could use theft proof backpack the shorty cable that came with the backpack, run that into the Vive Pro link box. So the headset USB and power connectors would go into the link box instead. The power plug going that direction is too small for a snug fit but it works, secure it with a piece of masking tape.

I don know if my packing cube practices are “best”, but what I do is reserve a larger packing cube (13.75“ x 9.75” x 3“) for lighter stuff like T shirts, leggings, shorts, socks and underwear, and a same size cube for bulkier stuff like a pair of jeans, flannel shirt, button up.
