I don see why it wouldn work that way with the Pro as well. Yeah, it depends on how waterproof you want the pouch. Roll top dry bags come in a variety of levels of protection, and the light silnylon drybags that backpackers use offer the lightest amount of water protection. They basically fine for rain, but for an expensive camera I personally would want more protection.
