I hired from WLU co OP and got about 35 applicants (I posted super late, like june, because of beaurocratic issues). Probably 10 12 didnt have a cover letter, and probably HALF (seriously) of the remaining 20 had such glaring mistakes in their resume or cover letter they were disqualified (addressed to wrong person, wrong BUSINESS, address in a different province (sorry not hiring you in this case) extremely poor effort (like 1 unformatted paragraph) uploading a transcript that half Ds (seriously just dont add that if that the case!)). I was left with like 5 8 half maybes, some of who were way overqualified, most who didn have relevant experience.
