If your goal is to do more pushups/pull ups, you benefit more from a deck of cards and a resistance band than you will from a weight vest in terms of money spent compared to muscles gained. Weighted vests aren a bad idea generally, but unless you so yoked up already that normal push/pull ups just ain doin it for you, I strongly suggest you grind out the basics a bit more before you drop $160 on a glorified waist trainer.
