A lot of the time at playgrounds I would have to tell him people just want to play by themselves and thats ok! and it hurt his feelings but eventually as he got older other kids did play with him. I think in the next year or so you see that other kids are starting to play with each other more, or that he start to want to play with the older kids at the playground (which can sometimes be good because they be ok with it but sometimes they won want a little kid tagging along) but by the age of 4 5 you really see more peer interaction. Good luck! I 100% sure that its not your kid, its just that he a super social little dude and other kids might not be there yet..
