I took it on a few business trips with me just fine as a carry on and use it when lugging my anti theft travel backpack laptop to LAN parties along with a change of clothes and whatnot. This can be as simple as downsizing the laptop to get more space but also things like learning to pack better. I had TSA open my rollerboard (I try to never check a bag) more than once because shoes with adapters and extra USB charging backpack cables in them can look a little funny on the screen.
