I think the important thing here is to appreciate the utility it has given to you in its lifetime. However, everything has a useful life, and i believe, from the background you have come through, can appreciate when i say that from a financial standpoint, it just doesnt make sense to pay for repairs on the bag. When the useful life of the bag has run out, even repairing just isnt feasible.
