I would limit items to: cell phone, ID, Health insurance cards if lucky enough to have, Credit cards/cash, hand sanitizer, keys, lighter, CHAPSTICK/lip balm (with some kind of SPF is a plus), gum, Kleenex pack (port a potty might be out of tp). anti theft travel backpack I still don too often do more than 3 days, but thats more because we don have family to help us out with the kids and my husband would have to take off work, etc. I and my husband do lots of trips with the kids though, we camp really frequently and have since they were little and I have always taken them on solo hikes since they were babies. bobby backpack You cannot wait around for things to get better. In may sound harsh, but the world doest give a fuck. But there are still good people out there who do, but they not looking for you. It a top loader with an additional pocket, with key fob, for incidentals. The front pocket isn mesh, so it doesn stretch, but the straps are long enough that you can get a lot inside if you need.
