I work nights which is to say I get all my work done basically IMMEDIATELY and I sit around doing nothing for hours. During this down time, I draw on my laptop and tablet. There nowhere to store this safely while I not around, so I take it home. Usually it fits snugly vertically in an overhead compartment taking up just as much room as any other bag width wise. If you already lining your bag with one, you can just move it to the outside of your bag, and once you at your destination, move it back inside.Even if the bag handlers are careful; due to all the machinery and bagage belt your luggage goes through, loose straps etc. Are not unlikely to get caught on something and get roughed up by the machines.

[[https://www.justantitheftbackpacks.com/|cheap anti theft backpack]] That provides the most direct transfer and the heavier the load you carry the more you might prefer this.If the top of the belt is slightly above your hip bones and the entire belt is around your hip bones, then (and only if it snug and tight!) the padding in the hip belt actually deforms to your skeletal structure to wrap around it providing load transfer over a larger surface area than the above method. That means it could potentially be more comfortable, assuming you don mind keeping the belt tight, although the transfer isn as direct.Personally, my hipbelt on my packs is usually just stretch webbing.
