Last time I was at a pool, it was just before school started and so there were a lot of older kids there being a bit crazy. But it was a pool, and the lifeguards were on top of keeping them from doing anything too bad. There was this older couple there with a 4yo, probably her grandparents, and they gave such dirty looks to all the other kids that dared get anywhere near them.

Its huge amounts of fun. I traveled extensively in my 20s and these same anti theft backpacks have been marketed to travelers forever. (When I wasn biking it was the gym layer I live in the Bay Area, so even on a warm day mornings and evenings are chilly). It dries quick, but definitely needs a wash after a few wears.
